Despite the personal and societal significance of motherhood and its direct connection to womanhood, some aspects of this complex reality often remain in the shadows. Especially when it comes to the challenges that many mothers face.
At this juncture, we gladly hand over the floor to the mothers themselves and pass the conversation to Jelena and Joana, who will speak about their own lived realities with us: namely, the systemic and societal hurdles that come with motherhood. Despite some harsh realities, occasional tears, and moments of despair, the realization remains that motherhood can be the greatest love in life... and that there may be nothing comparable to it.
