(P)eace, (L)ove, (U)nity, (R)espect, (R)esponsibility. We borrowed this acronym that has its origins in the 1990s rave culture, and is now experiencing a renaissance. In 2023 PLURR is not only about rave, it holds a new perspective infused with safety and inclusivity. We at INA KENT are very much align with this concept of prioritizing social responsibility and living under the premise that everything in life makes more sense when we look out for each other.
One must celebrate when one has the chance. And we would like to celebrate our 16th birthday not only on the day when our brand INA KENT initially saw the light of day but as part of an anniversary campaign ... all year long ... together with you: sweet16.
Sweet16. The 16th birthday is a huge coming-of-age moment. To be confronted with oneself for the first time, perhaps experiencing an identity crisis, exploring feelings, taking responsibility, starting your traditions, resisting. Finding out about your desires in life, figuring out what to even want from this world, and wondering what this world can offer you. Here at INA KENT, we’d like to live in the spirit of these emotions that not only accompany our teenage years but are present throughout our life. All this … and much more is sweet16.
To tie in with rave culture and Pride month, this sweet16 campaign intends to create the utopia of an environment where everyone feels safe, capturing a movement that unites people of all ages who appreciate living and feeling.
As part of the sweet16 collection, MOONLIT ed.1 and a new interpretation of our ball chain accessory BALL'N'CHAIN ed.2 appear as a limited edition with a special embossing in the colour variants metallic dark anthra and vegetable-tanned eco buffalo black. A reminiscence of the early days of the brand and forever favourites metallic anthra and pure black. Remember?
Did you know that it all started with restoring antique furniture, instrument bags ... and pregnancy?
Take a look into the past and present.
A winged heart that in this context stands for freedom, nostalgia, future, questions of identity, fears, hopes, and dreams and will accompany the campaign as a specially designed key visual that is also embossed onto all sweet16 styles. The protagonists of this campaign are solely consisting of our audience. Their characters, and diversity give us a glimpse into their worlds.

The protagonists involved come exclusively from our audience, manifesting their diverse and one-of-a-kind characters. For this campaign, they give us a little glimpse inside their minds and unique spirit.
