A glasses case made from metallic bronze waste leather with a magnetic closure, signature dividing seam and detachable carabiner drop midi

Glasses spend a lot of time in two states: either they are being worn or they are being searched for. In between, they often end up between two books, in a jacket pocket or loose inside a bag, where keys, headphones and other everyday essentials have long decided not to pay special attention to delicate surfaces. Whether sunglasses or prescription glasses – sensitive lenses usually benefit from having a dedicated place.

X.LUPE ed.1 moves this little everyday challenge to the outside. With the carabiner drop midi, the glasses case can be attached to bags, belts or belt loops, staying visible and easily accessible while taking on the additional task of protecting glasses and sunglasses from scratches – without letting them disappear into the depths of a bag. This way, glasses are exactly where they are most often needed in everyday life: within reach.

The signature dividing seam adds a distinctive detail, while the magnetic closure allows for quick opening and closing. As an add-on, X.LUPE ed.1 complements larger bags with a dedicated place for an item that is rarely easy to do without – on the way to work, while reading in a café, when travelling or wherever glasses are regularly put on and taken off.

Hardware: Equipped with a carabiner drop midi for easy attachment and removal.

This vegetable-tanned leather is refined in a multi-stage process with an ultra-thin foil, creating a subtle metallic sheen with delicate tonal variations that add depth and character. Depending on the finish, the surface may appear slightly firmer or soft and buttery, smoother or more textured, highlighting the natural qualities of the leather.

We use only high-quality foils. However, foiled leather is more delicate than untreated leather – over time, the surface may change, the leather base may become more visible, and the metallic sheen may soften. These changes are characteristic of the material and part of its natural evolution, giving each bag an individual appearance. Subtle variations in colour and texture are inherent and make every piece one of a kind.

To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:

  • Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for delicate or foiled leathers. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
  • Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the foil surface.
  • Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – such exposure can alter or fade the finish.
  • Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces: even minor scuffs may be visible on foiled leather.
  • Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for foiled or metallic leather; oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the surface.
  • Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly noticeable on lighter finishes.
  • For cleaning or visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
