ORNAMENT is a soft, unlined shoulder bag made from smooth black leather that naturally moulds to the body. Easy-going in shape, relaxed in feel.

The adjustable vegetable-tanned leather strap allows for different ways of wearing it: over the shoulder, crossbody or – with the strap removed – as a small clutch.

This ed.3 version of ORNAMENT comes with a subtle twist: a dividing seam and centred cross-stitching that gently disrupt the clean silhouette. Just enough to change the mood of the bag. Soft in shape, yet spacious enough for all essentials like phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses and a little more. A lightweight black leather bag for long days, late nights and everything in between.

Interior: Unlined, with a zip closure.

Ways to wear: Thanks to its adjustable strap and openable carabiners, ORNAMENT ed.3 moves easily between short, long, and crossbody wear. Without the strap, it folds into a relaxed croissant shape – understated, flexible, and unexpectedly versatile.

Combinations: Pairs effortlessly with smaller INA KENT styles and accessories, especially X.LOMI ed.2, X.LIO ed.1, X.ONI ed.2, CHARM ed.1–ed.4, and the signature BALL’N’CHAIN ed.1. Also works beautifully with Strap TAO ed.1, Strap NOX ed.1, BALLCHAIN SLING ed.1 or the PROTECTOR KIT ed.1.

Strap: Vegetable-tanned leather with finished edges. Removable and adjustable in length. Maximum length: 110 cm. As leather is a natural material, each strap is unique and may soften or stretch slightly over time.

Hardware: Custom-made carabiners: easy to handle, made to last, and quietly essential to how the bag works.

This piece is crafted from pigmented smooth leather with a soft, supple surface and fine, even texture. The pigment coating provides light protection while allowing natural features such as scars or insect bites to remain visible, highlighting the authenticity of the material.

We use only high-quality leathers. However, smooth leather is sensitive to friction, moisture, and frequent use. Over time, the surface will soften and develop an individual patina – a natural process that enhances the character of each bag. As leather is a natural material, subtle variations in colour and texture are inherent. 

To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:

  • Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for pigmented smooth leather. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
  • Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the surface.
  • Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – such exposure may alter or fade the finish.
  • Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces: even minor scuffs may be visible on smooth leather.
  • Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for pigmented leather; oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the surface.
  • Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly noticeable on lighter finishes.
  • Avoid contact with light or delicate materials – slight colour transfer may occur when exposed to warmth, moisture, or friction.
  • For cleaning or visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
