Leather shoulder bag in vertical format. Can be folded halfsize. The brown leather shoulder bag is made of a combination of a subtly shimmering vegetable-tanned, embossed leather and brown smooth leather. Perfect for long days on the go and nights out. AD LIB ed.1 is particularly versatile – its soft silhouette allows for versatile carrying options such as backpack, crossbody, and tote bag.

Interior: Cotton-lined. Zipped main compartment with side compartment and smartphone pocket. Roomy enough for a 13'' laptop.

Ways to wear: Carry yours as a tote bag, crossbody bag, backpack or foldover bag.

Fold Me: Variable in size. Reduce size by folding it half size.

Combinations: Due to the carabiner rings, AD LIB ed.1 can easily be combined with smaller INA KENT styles such as X.MOG ed.1 and X.ONI ed.2. To highlight your bag, combine it with our characteristic keychain BALL’N’CHAIN ed.1. Just attach it to the loops or carabiner rings of your bag to find your keys at all times.

This item combines two types of leather that complement each other in texture and appearance:
Front: vegetable-tanned embossed cowhide
Back: pigmented smooth leather

The embossed cowhide gains its distinctive texture through embossing and/or foiling. Under heat and high pressure, the natural grain of the leather is compacted, resulting in a multi-stage finish with a distinctive, partly metallic sheen.

The pigmented smooth leather on the reverse side is known for its soft, supple surface and fine, even texture. The pigment coating provides light protection while allowing natural characteristics such as scars or insect bites to remain visible, underscoring the authenticity of the material. As leather is a natural product, it does not remain flawless but develops its own character over time. With use, the silhouette becomes softer, and a unique patina emerges.

We use only high-quality leathers. Nevertheless, both embossed and pigmented surfaces are sensitive to friction, moisture, and frequent use. Over time, the surface may change slightly, and the gloss or embossing may soften – a natural process that adds to the individual character of each bag.

To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:

  • Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for embossed and pigmented leathers. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
  • Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the embossed surface or remove the pigment coating.
  • Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – these factors may alter the finish or cause fading.
  • Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces: even minor scuffs can be visible on embossed or pigmented leather.
  • Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for pigmented or embossed leather; oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the finish.
  • Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly noticeable on lighter surfaces.
  • Avoid contact with light or delicate materials – slight colour transfer may occur when exposed to warmth, moisture, or friction.
  • For cleaning or visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
