As a clean-lined shoulder bag, ORNAMENT ed.2 has been one of INA KENT’s bestsellers for years. Made from silvery iridescent metallic leather, that shifts gently through rainbow hues, the soft, unlined bag falls naturally, sits close to the body and stays refreshingly uncomplicated. Its reduced shape feels calm and clear … a bag that does exactly what you want it to do, sometimes slightly more.
Designed to stay lightweight, ORNAMENT ed.2 can be worn in different ways: as an underarm bag, crossbody or, with the strap removed, loosely carried as a small clutch. The adjustable strap made from vegetable-tanned leather allows for flexible styling and moves easily through different parts of the day, from early mornings to considerably later hours.
Despite its minimalist silhouette, this minimalist bag offers surprisingly generous space for essentials like phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses and more. There are also rumours that it could fit something sparkling for later. Purely theoretical, of course.

Ways to wear: Thanks to its adjustable strap and openable carabiners, ORNAMENT ed.2 moves easily between short, long, and crossbody wear. Without the strap, it folds into a relaxed croissant shape – understated, flexible, and unexpectedly versatile.

Our straps are unique, the length will therefore vary by 1-2 cm. Since leather is a living material, your strap will eventually stretch over time and use.

Our naturally tanned leather is refined in a multi-stage process with an ultra-thin, iridescent foil that reflects the colours of the rainbow. The result is a distinctive, almost holographic finish that shifts in tone depending on light and viewing angle. Depending on the edition, the surface may appear more even or reveal more of the leather’s natural texture and tactile qualities.
We use only high-quality foils. However, foiled and multi-coloured iridescent leather is particularly delicate – the ultra-thin coating may change or wear off with friction, moisture, or frequent use. Over time, the surface may become slightly matte, the light leather base may become more visible, and the shimmering colour gradient may soften. These changes are inherent to the material and form part of a natural process that gives each bag its individual patina.
To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:
- Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for delicate foiled surfaces. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
- Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the foil or alter the colour gradient.
- Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – such exposure can change or fade the finish.
- Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces: even minor scratches may be visible on iridescent leather.
- Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for foiled or delicate leather; oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the surface.
- Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly visible on lighter areas.
- For cleaning or visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
